Daily Sketch for February 28, 2012 – Syndrome from Pixar’s The Incredibles
Today I threw a little ink wash for some greytones on the daily sketch. Well, more of ink backwash, since I used whatever was in the cup I use to rinse out my brush. It’s been sitting there a few days.
Daily Sketch for February 23, 2012 – Elastigirl from Pixar’s The Incredibles
Today I was walking down the street and heard a man on the phone say “To cut to the chase and make a long story short…” I guess the story was so boring he needed it to be short, but he enjoys cliches so much he decided to string two together. Thus offsetting the time he would have saved actually just getting to the point.
What does all this have to do with today’s sketch?
Absolutely nothing. Enjoy!
Yesterday someone asked if I would be drawing Dash from The Incredibles during my Pixar/Dreamworks month. I’m very easily influenced. In fact, I might even go running this evening. That’s how easily influenced I am.
One time I was running with my friend Randy through some trails when a squirrel panicked and ran into his legs. I have never witnessed such a cartoony flailing by an adult male.
Never trust nature.
