I did a Twitter giveaway for the first person to send me a screenshot of my follower number at 1000. I hit that mark a couple weeks ago and the winner was Mayhem Comics, who requested a Doctor Who piece.
Incidentally, I’ll offer another giveaway when I hit 1500. Less than 400 to go!
I don’t know what else to add that isn’t summed up by the title of this post. Except that I have a deadline next week that’s still keeping me busy and am getting ready to put this page up on eBay. It’s from Doctor Who: A Fairty Tale Life #4. Judging by the title line on the page, I apparently forgot how to spell “doctor.”
Daily Sketch for March 23, 2012 – Doctor Who and Amy Pond
Are these just children playing, or were the Doctor and Amy transformed into kids? I know the answer but I’m not telling.
I was digging this style yesterday so I thought I’d explore it a bit. I did a ink and watercolor sketch at first then colored it in Photoshop.
I’m back from Comic Con. I slept almost 12 hours last night after a day spent flying over the US through air that’s just a bit more turbulent than I care for. There’s a ton of reviews of the show popping up all over the internet, so I won’t bore you with one here. I will say that attending the show is a much different experience when you don’t have a table. I was exhausted every day before the show ended.
I did make some great contacts and enjoyed hanging out with the guys I see at every show. I even did a couple sketches which I’ll post when I get them off of my camera.
In the meantime, here’s a page of inks I did for an issue of Doctor Who (Forgotten #6) for IDW. (Pencils by Kelly Yates)
