Catching up on the events of the last week:

- Happy Halloween! Now give me your candy...

- Daylight Savings Time Ends. Good thing, too. We need the extra hour to work on issue 1 of GravyBoy.

- Illness: I've been sick. So sick, in fact that I couldn't go to work on Tuesday, so I got a facefull of politics all day while I slipped in and out of an Alka-Seltzer-induced coma. My favorite part of the day was watching MTV's get-out-the-vote efforts - which primarily consisted of Christina Aguilera "interviewing" people struggling on either side of hot-button political issue. By "interviewing", I of course mean "nodding a lot and serving as an edgy backdrop" (kind of like a Palmer girl) while the interviewee talked about his/her plight. It was... interesting.

- The election: Congratulations to both presidential candidates. A race well run and, thankfully, well ended (meaning that there was an actual ending and no drawn-out court battles).

Still awaiting results on Brian's soil and water race. It's so close they haven't even dared to mention it in the news.
