I just spent an hour on the tennis courts. I do this primarily for fun, as any other aspirations would set myself up for disillusionment and spiraling depression.
Since we have gone the DVR route with our satellite service, my wife has mentally checked out and is glued to professional tennis. We’re not big sports watchers, well, we weren’t…so this is new to me. For instance, right now I can hear people yelling as they hit the little yellow ball back and forth, while an announcer drones on, finding surprisingly much to say about such a repetitive action.
Maybe I’ll dig out my old pong console and practice my announcing skills.
