Apparently my submission for the comic strip "Unfit" was...unfit. Which is ironic since I wasn't selected to be the new artist. But that's okay, congratulations to the winner Justin Thompson, I hope it's your big break.
I on the other hand am cranking out GravyBoy pages like a fiend. I originally said I'd like to do 3 issues this year. I'm considering upping my goal to 4. But we'll see. This Sunday we'll be at the Charlotte Comic Con, so if you're down that way, drop in a say hello. _________________ Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil. - C.S. I'm baaaaaaaaack...
So sorry that I've been out of touch GravyGuys. I've been crazy-busy. It's all good though. I just finished up a whole bunch of Superman and JLA paintings for DC comics and I'm hoping to take the art director of DC's UpperDeck trading cards out to lunch to discuss this years upcoming set. I've been furiously working away on my sequential pages for "Elsinore"(put out through Devil's Due) and "Liberty Girl"(put out through Heroic Publishing). Anyway, I will finally be getting to you the signed and numbered limited edition lithographs of the cover to GravyBoy #3. I can't wait to see the actual comic book. Good luck in Charlotte this weekend. Sorry that I couldn't get them for you for this show. You should have the lithos by wednesday, Februay 23rd. I am looking forward to seeing you guys at the next show that we'll be doing together, which looks like San Diego. Give me a shout when you get the chance. Speak with you soon...
