For anyone in the triad area of North Carolina or devoted fans who are willing to drive Wink - Brian and I will be doing a presentation all about our favorite subject, comics, for the Randolph County Public Library in Asheboro, NC on January 19th at 7:00pm.

We're calling it 4-Color Panels: Comics, Cartoons and the Graphic Novel. We'll be talking a little bit about the history of comics, the current books we're enjoying and the comic creation process. It's geared toward teens, but open to anybody. We'd love to see you there.

The Asheboro paper, the Courier-Tribune, did a nice piece about Brian and I, GravyBoy, and the event on the front page of their December 31st edition. The text of the article is available at http://courier-tribune.com/articles/2005/12/30/news/an1.txt

This promises to be fun.

Oh - and Happy New Year!

What exactly does Four-Color mean ( in terms of comics)?

It has to do with printing. Four-color is a printing process where you get a color print.

Ken's post (above Marty's) harkens back to the "Knowing is half the battle" slogan that always tailed the end of every GI Joe episode- which prompted Marty to post a Fanboy Almanac that payed homage to the old slogan.
