I braved the crowds today in a quest to finish off my Christmas shopping. Along the way I encountered the worst detour ever imagined. They're doing construction on a fairly major road here in town and had a detour set up around it. As it turns out, when I came to the "End Detour" sign, it 1) didn't end on the same street I was on (in fact it was at on intersection where you could only turn east or west..the detour was rerouting traffic heading north) and 2) it didn't tell anyone which way to turn to get back on the correct road.
If I wasn't from here I'd be outta luck...and pretty angry.

| The same story could pretty much happen on any road in Greensboro, at any given time. Detour or not. |

That happened to us on the way to New Hampshire once...only we weren't from that part of Maine. We were rather lost for a bit.
